“We got tired of campground roulette. So we built the standard we wished existed.”

Melissa & Travis

Full-time family of four. Brinkley Model G 3950. 40+ states and counting.

We sold our house, pulled our kids out of traditional school, and hit the road in our 45-foot Brinkley G 3950. Not to escape — to live with more intention. Along the way, we discovered that finding a genuinely great campground that can handle a big rig and meet our standards is absurdly hard.

The apps are ad-supported and incentivized to list everything. The reviews are unreliable. And nobody tells you when to go. So we started keeping a journal. Then a spreadsheet. Then other full-time families started asking for our list.

Travis builds the tech. Melissa sets the standard. If the bathhouse doesn't pass Melissa's 10pm Saturday night test, it doesn't make the cut. No exceptions.
